Wellness and Nutrition

Healthy bodies and minds begin with sound nutrition and abundant physical exercise. The 
St. Andrew’s program combines PE classes with additional Recess Coach sessions, nutritious meals and snacks daily, and healthy cooking classes for families. Students learn about farm fresh food, and participate in taste testing and menu planning. Healthy lifestyle lessons are infused in everything our students do.

Our wellness and nutrition program is comprised of:

  • A Farm-to-School model
  • Partnership with Edible Education
  • Fresh, chef-prepared foods
  • Healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks served daily
  • Healthy cooking classes for families
  • PE 2X week/daily physical activity at recess and in Extended Day
  • Students introduced to golf, bike riding and safety, tennis, basketball, yoga
