St. Andrew's School seeks a mission-focused leader to be Head of School to start in the summer of 2010.
St. Andrew's School, located in Richmond, Virginia, is an Episcopal tuition-free school for students from kindergarten through fifth grade. For over 110 years, St. Andrew's School has offered academic opportunities in a loving, faith community for low income students.

Founded in 1894, the mission of St. Andrew's School is to educate children of limited resources through a balanced academic, social and spiritual experience shaped by the Episcopal tradition and inspired by Christian faith. St. Andrew's School is a co-educational day school serving approximately 96 students, with a dedicated staff of 24.

This part-time position is an "as needed" position. Our school day is from 8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. This individual needs to be organized and have the ability to multi-task. Education and childcare experience is required. An interview and resume with references are required before being added to our substitute list.
